Okay, I’ll admit it: after my early trepidation regarding this movie, I’m starting to warm up to it. Or, perhaps more accurately, the trailers are like warm milk for my cynical, crusty soul. Maybe this will work. Maybe…
And maybe I’ll overlook the idea of a car being suspended upside down by only a few wheel boots and then being forcibly flipped. And some of the jokes are, well…
But besides that, this trailer looks good and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t starting to get just a little more intrigued. I’m still reserving out-and-out excitement, but things are looking pretty good. And, given that the movie has a January release date (typically the doorway into the dregs of the movie release schedule), if it’s “good” or better it could end up having a nice run at the Box Office.
